> I totally get it what she said, and i understand why it will no longer happen these days....

' there reason we made it to 50 years is, we lived in the times where you dont throw it away but you fix it'

hehe sounds like a great love story but for her
that was before women had power
before we knew about feminism
Beyonce wasnt there
it was led by men

tell me the results of your fix it generation
orphans
daddy not known
women trippled
dead from his beatings
dead from his diseases

is that what you call no throw it,fix it

thina we think there things that can not be fixed like broken trust
we cry for refresh button coz we really wanna love again
but memory is still there
the technology is our crony
we cant fix it

because when its broken it will never be the same
we do understand that they're human too
but we hold on too their words.

We cant fix it
because we know our sisters were loved to death.

We cant fix it because we have degrees and jobs
we dont depend on them to raise our kids
we can live without them
we have girlfriends to keep us happy
and if we miss em for a night
we know about clubs,condoms,pills,coke

we cant fix it
because if we do this boys take advantage

they know we love em so they can walk over our heads

there is a difference between love and pain

we cant fix it
because there are now men like
Steve and Gayton
women like Oprah and Nicki Minaj

bull is bull
we know too much granma
we've seen movies and songs
so we believe somewhere the is Romeo and Juliet who wont hurt us

so we throw it away
when its no longer happiness
we sign divorce papers and make divorce parties

we throw it away because we cant wait to say we are heartbroken

we throw it away coz we cant afford being loved from Jan to Nov
or just for Dec

#RED

Why do we live in the world where we have to explain ourselves. The reasons we choose RED lipstick.

Incase you wanna know why I choose RED. Ask me.

And don't assume a thing,like I am copying Taylor.

But I really wish we did not have to explain why we do things.

7 ways to live just a little

By Lindelwa Tshabalala

It is never too late to live to your fullest degree, experience and be proud! Yes, to do those fifty things you wrote down when you were fifteen to do just before you turn twenty one,you can still do it now even if you think you’ve already grown grey hair or maybe are too busy…
Take a break and try out a few of these things
o South Africa is one beautiful and diverse country – go cross culture…experience a whole new culture. Maybe for a week settle down with those people experience their daily lives.
o Begin something memorable; let your name be written on that wall around the street or that old disadvantaged building-make it relive once more!
o So what is it that you fear the most, get over it! The gene of fear is one that holds us back from living to our fullest capabilities! Climb that moment, hold that unplugged show and join that sport you’ve always liked!
o Since there is a festival or show coming up in few days, weeks- call up a bunch of your friends and hit the party…you won’t regret it!
o Be someone’ hero, teach someone your skills. Be your own hero by going for that dream you have had since forever- to go to college, start that business…yeap and that too…it is never too small!
o Give. It is less about taking but more about giving!
o Forgive and let go of that one person or thing that is holding you back. For sure it is not easy but talk to people and move on!

MINE

Mercy ReWrote my life

Its really funny how things occur in my life. Its' like it just the way they are suppose to be even though at times it seems so complicated. But within those complicated, confusing times a miracle occurs...it adds up. Ngendlela engingayiqondi and that always takes me back to saying, God. Its' Jesus Christ that kept me safe, that saw the danger and made me three minutes late. Its' Him that made me realise, not realise. I really feel like my life is on His hands. Everything is going according to His plan. And NOTHING NOTHING is this world beats that, for unyawo lami soze lashelela.

And to our souls...
Be Patient
Have faith.

We are the BLESSED ones for He above hears our prayers and answers them when we pray as Buhle Mpila puts it.

Reverse the curse to a blessing njengoba kwenza UJabesi.

Mercy ReWrote our lives....

Losing yourself
Pride
Self-knowing
Death and disappointments
You are scared huh?
You can lose yourself too
Do so too
When teaching this subject
Forget who you are
Sure thing you are a strong woman and real man
But your still posture is killing our vibe

The only way to do something perfectly
Is to lose yourself
You might fail, slip of tongue, fall and break leg
Fall preggies-
But that is the only way to fully live
Forget about finding out who you are when
You in front of us mam!
That is the only way you can do it right
The only way you can be happy in the end
Is by losing yourself
When you teach
Forget about your degree status
Lose yourself so that we can fully understand
When you love- lose yourself so to love enough
When you praise Thee , lose yourself to fully glorify
When you dance-
Forget who you are
Nothing is easier than it
Nothing is harder than it
But no matter how it is
Do IT!
The consequences may be good or bad
But keeping yourself consequences are
Bad
So lose yourself….
